Time is of course flying by and there are lots of little and big stories from this summer that I have been meaning to tell on the blog. But there is one story that just can't wait any longer.
A week and a half ago we had our ultrasound appointment to see our little bug. I was very anxious to find out if it was a boy or a girl. Since the moment I found out I was pregnant I just knew it was another girl. The night before the appointment, we were at my parents' house and I asked each person to guess what they thought it was. My mom and I guessed girl. Matthew guessed boy. My dad flipped a coin and it came up boy. From that point on, I was feeling unsure and felt like it could go either way.
As the appointment started, I was entranced by looking at our little baby and it took her a while to get to the big announcement. At one point the ultrasound tech said, "I am at the gender shot and there are three lines which means..." and then Matthew said "It's a girl!" We both smirked and smiled at each other.
I am so excited that we have another sweet daughter in our lives.
Meet our second beautiful girl...
During the appointment she moved around a lot but very slowly. Little somersaults, stretches and yawns. I noticed that she doesn't have the chubby cheeks that Elsie already had at her ultrasound appointment. She's a cutie and we love her so much already!
