The older children (sisters and daycare kids) always scream off and on and have their little tantrums and Alaina is just calm and happy through it all. She does yelp out and get fussy sometimes but that is generally just to remind me that she needs to eat, sleep, or get a poopy diaper changed. The few times where that hasn't been the reason, I think she has had gassy tummy aches. I have given her gripe water at these times which seems to help a bit but she is never willing to eat the full amount if it.
Her sleep has been consistently improving. That is the number one thing I look back at with the girls to get a hint on when things were where. The last few nights she has only gotten up once in the night to eat, which is a nice treat. She has gone 6-7 hours between feelings, ate on one side, and then goes back to sleep and wakes up for the day closer to 7. Before this current trend, she was going about 5 hours between feelings and then waking up every 3. I am also just starting to do a bedtime routine where I get her wrapped up in her sleep sack and then bounce her to sleep to her music. She falls asleep by the end of the second song. Last night was the first night where she stayed asleep and I didn't bring her back out of her room.
She gets a lot of hiccups. It is kind of funny, she will give herself the hiccups when she is trying to poop.
We've been really starting to hear her cute little voice lately and she will coo back to us. She will give little smiles when we talk to her.
Eats every 2.5-3 hours throughout the day. She is a good little nurser but hasn't taken to the bottle that great. She does eat from it from time to time, just not as well. My mom is able to bottle feed her but the last few times Matthew has tried, she won't take any.
Her sisters, and all of the daycare friends, love her to bits. It is cute to see them interact with her.
We have doctor appointments today so I will update with how big the little monkey is!
