3 months

At 3 months....



...Elsie now puts her arm around Mr. Bear - isn't that cute!
She weighs about 13.5 pounds or so.

She has come down with her first sickness. Over the weekend we went to grandma and grandpa Goldades and on Saturday night she started with a hoarse cough and extra sneezes.
She just started holding her head up 45 degrees with her arms out in front of her.
All of her 0-3 month clothes have been packed up and she is wearing all 3-6 month clothes.
She has been in a routine of sleeping from around 8:45-9:30 at night until 6:00 in the morning for her next feeding. Then goes back down until between 7:30-8:30. But that stopped when we went to Fergus and now she threw a 1:00 am feeding back in. We'll see if we can get back into the swing of things by 4 months!
Within the last week or so has been taking 3 shorter naps a day - 2 are about 30 minutes and one is 45-60 minutes. In fact she is waking up from a 45 minute nap right now!
...gives me smiles when I get her out of the crib from naps or in the morning.
Still has the reflux :( but I have high hopes that things will get better this month. She no longer screams after feedings though but sometimes will be pretty fussy for a while if she hasn't gotten a good burp out or if her meal is bouncing in her throat.
She now pushes herself around slightly while laying on her back by pushing her feet on the ground.
Likes looking up at mobiles or toys hanging.
Eats 6-7 times a day.
Sits in the bumbo for a few minutes from time to time.
Is drooling much more
Plays with hands more. She'll eat them from time to time or just rub them together, sometimes even intertwinging them a little.
Found her feet the other morning and grabbed them like 3-4 times while on the changing table but hasn't done it since.
IS moving from a full swaddle at night to a half swaddle.
Is starting to take naps in the crib.
Still smily and cute and coos when people talk to her or when she sees favorite things - such as....When we got home from Fergus and I sat down on the couch with her, she looked up and saw the ceiling fan and started smiling and cooing, she was happy to be home!
