Cora had her one year birthday party about a month ago. It was a great time. I think the 1 year party is more for the parents than the child - we get to celebrate with our family that this child is here and that we made it through the difficult parts of raising a little babe. All Cora needed to do was look cute and get loved on, and that she did.
Cora took a long morning nap and woke up to find all sorts of people at her house. She was a little overwhelmed at first but after snuggling Daddy for a while she warmed right up!
Dr. Seuss inspired foods were green eggs and ham, roast beast, poodles of noodles, and Grinch fruits,
Angie made the cupcakes to look like the cat in the hat. I also had a snack table with One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish...Hop on Pop(corn)...and some trail mix.

Cora got the walker from Grandma and Grandpa Wolf....she loved it and immediately started playing with it. The cute hat was part of the gift from Ericksons and Muellers.
Just like her sister, Cora took a while before she really started eating the cake. She never really ate a whole lot of it.
All dressed up in our red and blue for Dr. Seuss...

She is so precious and I can't wait to see what this next year brings for the sweetest little girl.
